Norwegian grandmaster Magnus Carlsen has come back into the spotlight with an interesting incident.
According to Medianews.az, before the tournament, Carlsen did not refuse the request of Kazakh chess player Alua Nurman and took a selfie with her. However, shortly after, he approached the referee and filed a complaint about the situation.
Carlsen stated that according to FIDE rules, the use or possession of a mobile phone in the playing hall during a match is prohibited and considered a violation of the rules.
