French President Emmanuel Macron responded to U.S. President Donald Trump's plan regarding the Strait of Hormuz, stating that France will not participate in military operations.
Medianews.az reports that Macron spoke at the 8th Summit of the "European Political Community" held in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia.
He emphasized the importance of supporting the territorial integrity and independence of Armenia and Moldova.
The French leader called on the U.S. and Iran to take coordinated steps to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. According to him, this is the only way to ensure stability in the region.
Macron also stated that “France will not join unspecified military operations.”
