In the 2025-2026 season of UEFA club tournaments, 48 teams from 19 member associations of the organization remain: 16 teams in the Round of 16 in each of the Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League.
Medianews.az reports that England is represented by 9 teams, Spain by 6, Germany by 5, Italy and France by 4, Portugal by 3, Turkey, Czech Republic, Greece, and Poland by 2, and the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Norway, Cyprus, Croatia, Hungary, Ukraine, and Slovenia by 1 team each in the tournaments.
The Europa League final is scheduled for May 20 (Istanbul), the Conference League final for May 27 (Leipzig), and the Champions League final for May 30 (Budapest).
Among the 55 UEFA members, England leads the club ranking. Azerbaijan is 27th.
The ranking is based on coefficients earned over the last five seasons of club tournaments. A win in the qualifying rounds counts for 1 point, a draw for half a point; in later rounds, a win counts for 2 points, a draw for 1 point. There are also bonus points awarded from the league stage through to the final.
The total points are divided by the number of clubs from the country qualified for continental tournaments, and the coefficient is calculated with a precision of one-thousandth.
Azerbaijan finished this season with a coefficient of 5.812. Qarabağ, which started the Champions League from the second qualifying round, advanced to the Round of 32; Sabah was eliminated first from the Europa League first qualifying round, then from the Conference League third qualifying round; Zirə was knocked out at its first attempt in the Conference League; and Araz-Nakhchivan managed to pass one round in this tournament.
