In the USA, Arnett Johnson, who is homeless and recently released from prison, saved a 6-year-old boy.
Medianews.az reports that the incident occurred in the city of Miami.
Arnett saw the child wandering alone on the street at midnight and informed the police. He tried to find the child's parents but could not, and stayed with the child until the patrol arrived.
Johnson stated: "There is always danger here. God sent me there, and I did what I had to do." The police thanked him.
It was later revealed that the child’s mother – 30-year-old Annie Rivera – had dropped him from the car and left. The woman was arrested on charges of negligence. The child was placed in the custody of the Florida Department of Children and Families.
