The cost of the U.S. military operation "Operation Epic Fury" against Iran has reached approximately 25 billion dollars.
According to Medianews.az, the Pentagon states that the main part of the expenses has been directed towards ammunition, operations, and the renewal of damaged equipment.
In discussions held in Congress, the war has been sharply criticized both for its financial burden and strategy. Democrats blamed the administration for economic burden and diplomatic failure, while some Republicans demanded clarity on the objectives of the operation.
U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth responded to the criticisms regarding expenses by stating that the priority is to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.
According to information, as a result of intensive operations, the U.S. has used hundreds of "Tomahawk" missiles, which has caused a depletion of military reserves. Experts note that this could affect preparations for other possible crises.
It is reported that the daily expenses of the operation, which began in February, are approximately 1 billion dollars. Analysts do not rule out that the total amount will increase as the war prolongs.
