Iran has presented a 14-point peace proposal to the US.
The information was released by the Tasnim news agency.
It is reported that Tehran's proposal, submitted through Pakistan, envisions "ending the war on all fronts, including Lebanon."
According to the agency, Tehran believes that "issues must be resolved within 30 days" and that negotiations should focus more on "ending the war" rather than extending the ceasefire. Tasnim notes that the proposal also includes calls for the release of frozen Iranian assets, lifting of sanctions, and the implementation of a "new mechanism for the Strait of Hormuz."
Iranian officials have not yet made public statements regarding the details of the proposed plan.
U.S. President Donald Trump stated on his Truth Social account that he would soon review Iran's proposal but does not expect to be satisfied with it: "I will soon review the plan Iran sent us, but I cannot imagine it being acceptable because, given what they have done to humanity and the world over the past 47 years, they have not yet paid a sufficiently high price."
