Tension is rising regarding the plane shot down in Iran: Images of the airplane wreckage have been released

The controversy over the U.S. plane claimed to have been shot down in Iranian airspace is deepening.

Medianews.az reports that U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that the pilots have been rescued.

Nevertheless, Iran has denied this claim and released images of a burnt body found among the plane wreckage.

In recent days, U.S. military aircraft allegedly entering Iranian airspace and being shot down have become the main topic of discussion. According to a source speaking to the "Wall Street Journal," on March 3, a U.S. fighter jet crashed in Iran. After that, a race began between the parties to find the crew members.

The White House declared that the rescue operation was successfully completed and that the pilots were saved. However, Iran denied this information and claims that the U.S. suffered additional losses during the search operation.

According to Tehran's statement, during the operation, two U.S.-owned MC-130 planes and four MH-6 "Little Bird" helicopters were shot down. Additionally, images of the wreckage of the downed aircraft have also been released.

The released footage prominently shows a burnt human skull among the plane wreckage. The Iranian side says this body may belong to one of the pilots the U.S. claims were rescued. The White House's position on the matter has not yet been announced.
