The Ministry of Interior of Bahrain announced that four people suspected of espionage for Iran have been detained.
According to Medianews.az, the ministry noted that one more person is being sought.
According to the information, the five mentioned individuals conducted shootings with high-precision photo equipment in Bahrain to identify coordinates of strategic and important objects on the instructions of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran (IRGC).
The official statement says that the individuals suspected of espionage were able to send the collected materials to Iran through encrypted software.
