Claims have been circulating in Iranian media that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was killed in an assassination. The reports state that his absence from the public for several days and the increased security measures around his residence have led to these claims.
According to Medianews.az citing Milli.Az, the cancellation of planned visits to Israel by US Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner has also sparked various speculations. In addition, Iranian media claimed that Israel's national security minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and the prime minister’s brother Iddo Netanyahu were killed in attacks, but this information has been concealed.
However, a few hours after these reports were released, Benjamin Netanyahu appeared before the public and visited the National Emergency Medical Operations Center.
The prime minister spoke here and said the following:
"Our goal is to enable the Iranian people to be freed from the yoke of oppression. Ultimately, it is their own choice. However, with the steps we have taken so far, we have dealt a serious blow to the Tehran regime."
