Iran targeted the area in Bahrain where US soldiers are stationed.
Medianews.az, citing Publika.az, reports that the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps issued a statement on this matter.
The statement said that in the last hours of the seventh and eighth waves of the "True Promise 4" operation, missile strikes and large-scale drone attacks were carried out against US and Israeli targets.
It was claimed that this operation caused the death or injury of 560 US soldiers:
"After the recent attacks, the US Ali Al-Salem Naval Base in Kuwait was completely destroyed, and three infrastructures of the US Mohammad Al-Ahmad maritime facility were destroyed. The US Naval Base at Bahrain's Salman port was also targeted by four drones, causing serious damage to its command and support centers."
The statement noted that attacks on maritime targets are continuing: "Three oil tankers belonging to the US and Great Britain, located in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz, were subjected to missile attacks and are currently burning."
