Iran's First Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref has given a statement regarding the Iran-US talks to be held in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan.
Medianews.az, citing Bakıvaxtı.az, reports that he shared on the "X" platform that the outcome of the talks will depend on the position of the other side.
"If we negotiate with the representatives of those who say 'US first' in Islamabad, it is possible to reach an agreement beneficial for the world. However, if we face the representatives of those who say 'Israel first,' no agreement will be reached," he noted.
Aref emphasized that if no agreement is reached, Iran will resolutely continue its defense policy.
