Iran's oil production and export continue uninterrupted.
Medianews.az reports, citing Publika.az, that the statement was made by Ismail Hosseini, spokesperson of the Energy Committee of the Iranian Parliament.
According to him, daily life on Kharg Island proceeds normally.
The spokesperson also repeated Iran's threat that any foreign attack on Kharg Island would cause "a bigger disgrace than the Strait of Hormuz."
It should be noted that Kharg Island serves as Iran's main oil export center, accounting for 90 percent of oil shipments from OPEC member countries.
