Iran has allowed commercial ships carrying humanitarian cargo and essential goods to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.

According to the agency, the relevant instruction was sent by Homan Fathi, acting deputy minister of agriculture of Iran, to the leadership of the Islamic Republic's Ports and Maritime Organization. The document states that the given permission applies to vessels heading to Iranian ports or already in the waters of the Gulf of Oman.
The Iranian authorities have not clarified whether ships with humanitarian cargo belonging to other countries are allowed to exit the Persian Gulf through the Strait of Hormuz.//Telegraf
