If people find jobs in the regions, Traffic jams in Baku will also decrease - DEPUTY

The transition to a variable work schedule in Baku is being discussed soon.

It is interesting whether this could lead to a reduction in traffic jams in the capital?

Medianews.az reports that Member of the National Assembly Fazil Mustafa stated that these also will not prevent traffic jams:

"Because traffic jams are a more global problem. To solve this problem, creating alternative routes, establishing transportation routes over the sea, or developing the bridge infrastructure with more modern, multi-level, suspension-type models can yield more effective results. Another important issue is taking steps to reduce the burden on Baku."

According to the parliamentarian, the development of regions and support of entrepreneurship is important so that people can find jobs in the areas where they live:

"As people gain employment opportunities in the regions, the flow to the capital will decrease. Consequently, as population density decreases, it will also be possible to partially eliminate the traffic jam problem."
