A 7-year-old boy drowned in a pool in Italy. The pool's water drain pipe pulled the child in.
Medianews.az reports that the tragedy occurred in front of his parents at a thermal resort in the Lazio region. He was only able to be removed after the pump was stopped, but medical aid was unsuccessful.
According to initial investigations, there was no protective grate on the pool's water outlet. The boy's father claims that after the incident, the resort management tried to cover up the traces by restoring the grate. The prosecutor's office is investigating the case, and four people – resort administration employees and technical workers – are suspects.
