“No Israeli prime minister has ever strived as my husband does on every trip to the US to meet with the leaders of the Christian community, to listen to them, to build sincere partnerships with this community.” Medianews.az reports that Sara Netanyahu, wife of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, said this in an interview with the US “Fox News” channel.
Noting that antisemitism is increasing worldwide, including in the US, Sara Netanyahu said that there are those who try to spoil relations between Christians and Jews and weaken the Christian community’s support for Israel, and the strengthening of antisemitic statements at a time when there is a war against Iran is particularly worrying.
Recalling that the Iranian leadership has repeatedly threatened to destroy Israel, Sara Netanyahu said: “The Holocaust tragedy must never be repeated and will not be repeated.”
Sara Netanyahu evaluated US President Donald Trump as one of Israel’s strongest allies and noted that under Trump’s leadership new political realities are forming in the Middle East.
