Medianews.az reports that snow is falling in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, Shahbuz, Dashkasan, Shabran, Sheki, Shamakhi, Gobustan, Gadabay, Khizi, Lerik, Altiagaj, Khaltan, Shahdag, Guba, Gusar, Gakh (Sarybash), and rain in Imishli, Goychay, Oguz, Gabala, Ismayilli, Kurdamir, Sabirabad, Neftchala, Bilasuvar, Lankaran, Astara, Zaqatala, Balakan, Beylagan.
In some areas, a northwest wind is blowing, with the maximum speed of the wind reaching 28 m/s in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, 20 m/s in Neftchala, 17 m/s in Tovuz, and 15 m/s in Julfa.
There is a possibility of precipitation in some places tonight, with snow showers. The occasionally strengthening northwest wind will be replaced by a northeast wind during the day. The air temperature will be from 2 degrees below zero to 1 degree above zero at night and 2-4 degrees above zero during the day.
Starting tomorrow, precipitation will gradually cease.
It is expected that from February 6 onward, the air temperature will gradually rise. By February 9, the temperature is forecasted to increase by 6-8 degrees.//Bakupost
