The National Statistics Service of Georgia has released an inflation report for 2025.
Medianews.az reports that according to the official statement, consumer prices increased by 4 percent over the year. Price increases in food and non-alcoholic beverages were 8.8 percent, healthcare services 7 percent, hotel and public catering services 6.9 percent, alcoholic beverages and tobacco products 4.4 percent, and education 2.1 percent.
It is noted that communication services decreased by 4.7 percent, recreation and cultural services as well as furniture and household goods by 1.6 percent, transportation services by 0.6 percent, and utilities by 0.3 percent.
