Georgia: exports have increased, imports have decreased

The National Statistics Service of Georgia has published a foreign trade report.

Medianews.az reports that according to the official statement, trade turnover amounted to 3 billion 511.6 million dollars in January-February. This is 6.9 percent lower compared to the same period in 2025.

It is reported that exports increased by 22.9 percent, imports decreased by 15.4 percent, and it is noted that imports exceeded exports by 1 billion 459 million dollars.

In 2023, Georgia's foreign trade had a negative balance of 9.5 billion dollars, in 2024 it was 10.3 billion dollars, and in 2025 it was 11.3 billion dollars.
