6,000 tickets have been sold for the "Sabah" – "Zirə" match to be held in the Azerbaijani Cup final.
Medianews.az reports that this information was provided to "Qafqazinfo" by Sanan Abdullayev, the Media and Marketing Director of the Professional Football League (PFL).
He stated that the tickets were equally divided among the clubs' fans:
"It is a pleasing situation that there is great interest in the Azerbaijani Cup final match. Out of the 8,031 seats put up for sale, nearly 6,000 have been sold. An equal approach was applied in the distribution of the tickets for both teams. The nominal home team 'Sabah' and the nominal guest 'Zirə' were each allocated the same number of tickets. Approximately 1,500 tickets were intended for the fans of each club, and the sectors were specifically allocated in advance. The clubs also have the opportunity to purchase additional tickets. A simple opening ceremony is planned. Along with this, certain events will be implemented at the stadium on game day to better create the final’s atmosphere. Fan zones will be organized."
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani Cup final match will be held on May 13 and will start at 20:00.
