It is claimed that Egyptian footballer Mohamed Salah, who left England's "Liverpool" club, may transfer to Turkey's "Fenerbahçe" club.
Medianews.az reports, citing foreign media, that the "Fenerbahçe" management has contacted Salah and started negotiations for the transfer of the star footballer.
It is reported that the footballer rejected offers from Saudi Arabia because he wants to continue his career in Europe.
According to claims, the Istanbul representative offered the 33-year-old striker a 3-year contract with an annual salary of 12-13 million euros. It is noted that Salah's salary expectation is approximately 20 million euros.
According to information, certain progress has been made in the negotiations between the parties. However, whether the transfer will materialize depends on the decision of the club's newly elected management.
It is noted that Salah was transferred from Italy's "AS Roma" club to "Liverpool" in 2017. He scored 257 goals in 441 matches wearing the "Liverpool" jersey, provided 122 assists, and became one of the most successful forwards in the club's history.
