A 22-year-old laborer tragically died while working in a workshop in the Absheron district.
Qafqazinfo reports that the incident occurred in the village of Mammadli in the district.
Specifically, Ramil Saatov, born in 2003 and a resident of the village, was crushed by a 20-ton iron tank in the workshop where he worked. He died at the scene.
"A coworker shouted that the boy was trapped underneath. When we arrived, we saw they were trying to pull him out by clawing with their hands. Even though we dug the earth with our backs, it was already too late. He was caught between the wood and the iron. He lived only two minutes," said a witness of the incident.
An investigation is underway at the district prosecutor's office regarding the case.
