Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has reacted strongly to the threats from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Medianews.az reports that these remarks were made by Erdoğan during his speech in parliament.
He stated that threats against Turkey are unacceptable: "No one can wag a finger at Turkey. Turkey is not an ordinary state."
In his speech, Erdoğan also touched on the Gaza and Palestine issue, sharply criticizing Israel’s policies and emphasizing that Turkey will continue its stance against oppression in the region.
The president also spoke about the achievements his country has made in the energy and defense industries, especially highlighting that energy security has been strengthened through offshore gas production and new projects.
At the end of his speech, he reiterated that they will be determined to protect Turkey’s national interests and stance.
