If they had heard the people's voice earlier, there would have been no protests – Doctors SPOKE

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized in a meeting with the Minister of Economy and his deputies that the government must address the problems of market traders, workers, and other segments of society.

Musavat.com reports that Pezeshkian noted the state must take these issues seriously and resolve the problems early on without resorting to radical measures.

President Pezeshkian stated that the main responsibility of the state is to carefully listen to the discontent and demands of society and to take appropriate actions accordingly. He remarked that if the state had listened to the people's dissatisfaction earlier and responded to their demands, the protests occurring in the country could have been prevented.

Pezeshkian also mentioned that redirecting the focus of Iran's economic development from Tehran to other regions, especially the southern port cities, is a strategic goal. He emphasized that the country's economy should not be limited only to the capital, but should also be distributed equally to the regions. This aims to increase regional development and ensure economic equality.

Pezeshkian stated that the development of southern port cities will strengthen Iran's foreign trade relations and create new job opportunities in the regions. He also stressed that this strategy will increase social stability, strengthen the local economy, and reduce regional development disparities.
