If air defense (AD) support deployed in the Persian Gulf region had been provided to Kyiv during the first seven days of the war in the Middle East, the Ukraine war could have ended sooner.
Medianews.az, citing Axar.az, reports that Finnish President Alexander Stubb stated this.
He noted that the first week of combat operations in Iran required approximately 40 billion dollars:
“This amount is roughly equal to the aid expenses European countries have provided to Ukraine over the course of one year.”
Stubb added that currently Ukraine can gain certain advantages from the conflict in the Middle East. Because this conflict may weaken Russia's opportunities for military cooperation with Iran.
