The Central Bank did not change the exchange rate of the US dollar on May 7, marking the completion of 8 years and 2 months of stability.
Medianews.az reports that during the devaluations of 2015, the official exchange rate of the US dollar rose from 0.7844 manats to 1.5594 manats, reaching 1.7707 manats in 2016.
The maximum price was recorded in February 2017: 1.92 manats. The dollar, which ended that year at 1.7001 manats, has been sold to banks at 1.7 manats since March 7, 2018.
