An unpleasant incident occurred at one of the schools located in the city of Biysk in the Altai region of Russia.
Medianews.az reports that an 8th-grade student opened tear gas in the classroom during the lesson.
As a result, several students suffered health damage and were immediately given medical assistance. Doctors were called to the scene, and after the room was ventilated, classes continued.
Although the school administration did not suspend classes, the incident caused serious concern among parents and teachers.
A criminal case has been opened against the boy under the "hooliganism" article related to the incident. Currently, law enforcement agencies are taking witness statements, investigating how the tear gas was brought to the school, and assessing the responsibility of the school administration.
Investigations are ongoing, and the student is expected to be held accountable before the law.
