As we reported, in Tovuz, a mother abandoned her baby at the home of an elderly woman.
The woman spoke to "Baku TV".
She stated that since she rented out her house, the child's mother expressed a desire to stay there, left her child with the woman under the pretext of bringing documents, and then did not return:
"A week ago, a young woman and a young man came. They asked if I rent out my house. I said yes, but bring your documents. They said, auntie, we will stay tonight and bring them tomorrow. Tomorrow came and they left. I asked if they were taking the child. She said, auntie, we will return soon, it is cold, we shouldn’t take the child. Take care of the child, I will return. She entrusted me, and I fulfilled my duty as a Muslim.".
The woman said that for one day calls to those people remained unanswered. After that, the homeowner informed the police.
Note that the baby has been admitted to the hospital.
