By 14:00 Astana time, 6,471,378 citizens of Kazakhstan had received ballots, which accounts for 51.98 percent of the persons included in the voter lists.

The Central Referendum Commission of Kazakhstan announced that according to the legislation, if more than half of the citizens with voting rights participate in the voting, the referendum is considered to have taken place.
