According to information provided to Medianews.az by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during the phone conversation, concern was expressed regarding drone attacks from the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran into the territory of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
J. Bayramov provided the other party with detailed information about the drone attacks. He stated that this attack against the territory of Azerbaijan is a violation of the norms and principles of international law and serves to increase tension in the region.
It was emphasized that the Azerbaijani side demands that Iran clarify the attacks in a short period, provide explanations, and take urgently necessary measures to prevent such incidents from recurring in the future.
