German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul called the speech of US Secretary of State Marco Rubio at the Munich Security Conference a "good start" against the background of establishing relations with Washington.
According to Medianews.az, citing Modern.az, Wadephul said this in a statement to journalists.
Wadephul told journalists that Europe has decided to increase its competitiveness on its own initiative, and that his country is making efforts to prevent illegal migration.
"Europe is ready for dialogue with the US. But we do not need additional advice," he added.
It should be noted that Rubio expressed his concerns about the issue of mass migration during his speech at the conference and emphasized that the US wants to see a strong Europe.
