The court case of Seymur Mamishov, who committed theft worth 1.6 million manat from a house in Baku, his twin brother Teymur Mamishov, and their cousin Rzayev Vusal has concluded.
Medianews.az reports that the victim is identified as Gulnara Rzayeva, the maternal aunt of Teymur and Seymur.
According to information, the woman whose money was stolen worked as a lecturer at Baku State University.
Regarding the incident, the criminal group used uniforms intended for couriers of the "Volt" delivery company when committing the theft. The accused individuals, having obtained these clothes, concealed themselves under the courier disguise.
The group members who entered the house managed to cut the iron safe with a tool they brought and stole 821,000 dollars (equivalent to 1,395,700 manat at the exchange rate on the day of the incident - editor) and 205,000 manat from the storage place, causing a total loss of 1.6 million manat to the victim. Besides the money, the stolen items also included a gold signature badge and a gold coin worth 7,100 manat.
