A drunk man stabbed a bar security guard in Baku.
Medianews.az reports that the incident took place in one of the bars located on Boyuk Gala street in Icherisheher, Sabail district.
According to the final protocol in the indictment, Osman Guliyev (name and surname are pseudonyms), born in 1990, came in front of that bar drunk and wanted to enter. However, the victim working as a security guard there told Osman that he was intoxicated and that only married individuals were allowed into the establishment. Angered by the guard's words, O. Guliyev went to his home in Icherisheher, took two kitchen knives, returned to the security guard, and during the ensuing argument, stabbed him in the back causing injury.
Osman Guliyev was detained regarding the incident and a criminal case was opened against him. In his statement, the accused expressed remorse for his actions and stated that he has reconciled with the victim. The victim, in turn, said that he has no complaints or demands against Osman.
By court decision, Osman Guliyev was sentenced to deprivation of liberty for 1 year, 11 months, and 28 days. (lent.az)
