Medianews.az reports that after 22 rounds in the 33-round championship, "Sabah" has accumulated 53 points, "Qarabağ" 46, "Turan Tovuz" 41, and "Zirə" 38 points.
"Araz-Naxçıvan" has 33, "Sumqayıt" and "Neftçi" 31, "Şamaxı" 26, "İmişli" 21, "Kəpəz" and "Qəbələ" 16, "Karvan-Yevlax" 7 points.
"Qarabağ" and "Neftçi" have one game in hand.
Since 1992, "Qarabağ" has been champion 12 times, "Neftçi" 9 times, "Kəpəz" 3 times, "Şəmkir", "Bakı" and "İnter" (the current "Şamaxı") 2 times, and "Turan" (Tovuz) and "Xəzər Lənkəran" 1 time each.
