The website Medianews.az has taken a look at how much financial aid political parties received from the state in 2025.
According to the rule, financial aid envisaged in the state budget is distributed among parties as follows: 40 percent is equally divided among political parties represented in the parliament, 50 percent is divided according to the number of deputies of the parties; 5 percent falls to new political parties represented in the parliament as a result of repeat and additional elections, as well as changes in the party affiliation of active deputies; 2.5 percent is equally divided among political parties that received valid votes in the election but are not represented in the parliament, and 2.5 percent is divided according to the number of votes received.
As of September 1, 2024, the parliament elected with 125 members currently has 124 members.
The New Azerbaijan Party is represented with 67 mandates, the Civic Solidarity Party with 3, and the Justice, Law, Democracy Party, Great Azerbaijan Party, Republican Alternative Party, Democratic Reforms Party, Great Construction Party, Azerbaijan National Independence Party, Motherland Party, National Front Party, Azerbaijan Democratic Enlightenment Party each with 1 mandate.
According to the financial reports submitted to the Central Election Commission, in 2025, the state provided the New Azerbaijan Party with 3 million 4.6 thousand manats in aid.
The Civic Solidarity Party received 379.1 thousand manats, the Justice, Law, Democracy Party received 338.7 thousand manats in aid.
The Motherland Party, Azerbaijan Democratic Enlightenment Party, Azerbaijan National Independence Party, Great Azerbaijan Party, Great Construction Party, Democratic Reforms Party, National Front Party, Republican Alternative Party received 304.9 thousand manats.
The Musavat Party received 40,586 manats, the Free Homeland Party 7 thousand manats, the Truth-Justice Party 2,090 manats, the White Party 1,175 manats, the New Time Party 1,140 manats, the Justice Party 1,012 manats, the Azerbaijan People’s Party 850 manats, and the Classic People’s Front Party 50 manats in aid.
The Azerbaijan Democratic Party, Azerbaijan People’s Front Party, Umid Party, Future Azerbaijan Party, National Revival Movement Party, Modern Musavat Party, Unity Party did not receive state aid.
