Currently, there are 1,682,480 students studying in general education institutions in Azerbaijan.
In response to AZERTAC's inquiry, the Ministry of Science and Education stated that 1,507,000 of them study in the Azerbaijani section.
157,000 students study in the Russian section, 15,000 students in the English section, 2,500 students in the Turkish section, and 980 students in the Georgian section.
