The Management Board (MB) of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has decided to keep the policy rate at seven percent.
This information was provided to Medianews.az by the CBA.
It was stated that the lower bound of the interest rate corridor was maintained at 6%, and the upper bound at 8%.
"This decision was made taking into account the alignment of actual inflation with the forecast inflation trajectory, the comparison of forecasted inflation with the target (4±2%), the possible effects of recent global economic developments, the domestic macroeconomic situation, as well as the transmission of monetary policy decisions," the statement read.
