According to the Central Bank's statistical bulletin, as of September 1, overdue loans in Azerbaijan reached 530.9 million manat.
Medianews.az reminds that problematic loans started at 449.1 million manat in 2025. There was an increase of 81.8 million manat over eight months.
The Central Bank's report also notes that as of September 1, the total assets of 22 banks exceeded 55.6 billion manat, total liabilities exceeded 48.5 billion manat, more than 28.7 billion manat in loans and more than 15.4 billion manat in deposits were formalized in the country.
Loans amounting to 21.8 billion manat and deposits close to 13.6 billion manat fell to the share of the capital city Baku.
