Eldar Guliyev has been re-elected as the chairman of the Azerbaijan Council of Elders.
Medianews.az reports that the decision was made on April 23 at the IX Congress of the Council of Elders held in Baku.
According to the charter, the chairman of the Council of Elders is elected for a term of 5 years.
Eldar Guliyev was first elected chairman at the VIII Congress of the Council of Elders held in September 2020.
