The US plan for Iran is on the agenda: Tehran gave a harsh response

After U.S. President Donald Trump's trip to China, it is claimed that Washington is considering new military steps against Iran.

Medianews.az, citing the U.S. media, reports that the main topics of discussion are the restart of the "Freedom Project" operation in the Strait of Hormuz and potential strikes on Iranian infrastructure.

According to information, the U.S. Navy may expand its activities in the region to ensure the safety of ship passages through the Strait of Hormuz. The White House is reportedly concerned about Iran's nuclear program and its growing influence in the region.

Allegedly, Israel has also entered a high alert status due to the possibility of a potential operation. It is noted that the Israeli army will operate under an enhanced security regime in the coming days.

A harsh reaction came from Tehran. Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated in response to the U.S. threats that military pressure will not yield results.

Araghchi said: "They fought a war with us for 40 days and saw the outcome. It is only possible to speak with Iran on the basis of mutual respect."
