Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia Dmitry Medvedev made a statement about the tension between the USA and Iran.
Medianews.az reports that according to him, although both sides call themselves winners, superiority is given to sound thinking.
Medvedev noted that although Washington's statements about "destroying Iranian civilization" exacerbate the situation, the fact that US President Donald Trump is ready to discuss Tehran's peace proposals is considered a success for Iran.
According to him, it is still questionable whether Washington will agree to these proposals, because the discussion involves both compensation for the damage caused to Iran, the continuation of the nuclear program, and control over the Strait of Hormuz.
