A fuel-carrying aircraft belonging to the US Air Force crashed in western Iraq.
Medianews.az reports that there are at least five crew members on the plane. No information has been released yet about their fate.
The incident occurred on March 13. The crashed aircraft was a "KC-135 Stratotanker" type military refueling plane.
The US Central Command (CENTCOM) stated that the incident "did not occur as a result of enemy fire or friendly fire."
According to official information, the incident was recorded within the framework of the US's "Epic Rage" operation against Iran.
Search and rescue operations are currently ongoing.
