Persons over the age of 50 ATTENTION!

Although cardiovascular diseases are thought to be characteristic only of older people, specialists report that this risk actually begins at a very early age.

Medianews.az, referring to News24.az, reports that according to cardiologists' opinions, these diseases can develop secretly without any symptoms for a long time. Recent data shows that men face cardiovascular diseases at an earlier age compared to women.

The results of a long-term study conducted in the USA and published in the journal of the American Heart Association confirm this fact. Within the scope of the research, more than 5,000 people aged 18-30 were regularly monitored over 34 years.

According to the results of the study, the cardiovascular risk in men begins to increase roughly from the age of 35, and the disease on average manifests itself at the age of 50.5. In women, this indicator was noted to be on average 57.5 years old. Thus, men face cardiovascular diseases approximately 7 years earlier than women.

Specialists emphasize that starting preventive examinations from an early age is of vital importance.
