The short fiction film titled "Investigate!" has been included in the archive of the Azerbaijan State Film Fund.
Medianews.az reports that the Azerbaijan State Film Fund has issued a statement regarding this.
It was stated that the film was produced in 1978 at the training film studio of the All-Union State Cinematography Institute.
"This is a course project filmed by Honored Art Workers, film director Jahangir Mammadov and cinematographer Alakbar Muradov when they were students. The director of the film is Nadir Aliyev.
Famous actors such as Fazil Salayev, Leyla Badirbeyli, and Arif Gasimov played the leading roles in the film. The course project is the last film work of actor Fazil Salayev.
The film was delivered by Honored Art Worker Alakbar Muradov’s son, director Murad Muradov, and has been digitized at the Azerbaijan State Film Fund," the statement said.
It was noted that this film's title has not been encountered in any catalog or list prepared about Azerbaijani cinema until now.
