Ivan Suxov, who lives in Russia and is known for polygamy, has had his 31st child born. The father cited this event to demand the termination of a criminal case opened concerning his underage daughter.
This was stated to "Vechernyaya Moskva" by I. Suxov’s lawyer Alexander Poçuev.
"Ivan’s 31st child, a boy, has been born. The name has not yet been chosen. On the occasion of this celebration, I appealed to the Chairman of the Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, with a proposal to give Ivan a memorable gift and finally put an end to the long-lasting criminal case," he said.
The lawyer noted that the criminal case against Suxov has been in the preliminary investigation phase for five months. Meanwhile, his daughter Anna, who accuses her father of sexual assault, almost does not participate in the process.
"Anna avoids participating in the investigation and does not attend confrontations. There is not enough evidence of Ivan’s guilt. He and his family have been under public condemnation during this time and are suffering emotionally very much," A. Poçuev added.
He stated that in response to his daughter's accusations, Suxov filed a defamation claim with law enforcement agencies. However, according to the lawyer, proceedings on this case are currently suspended.
Ivan Suxov is 40 years old. He gained wide fame after an interview with journalist Sasha Sulim in December 2024. In the interview, he revealed that he has raised 30 children from 12 women. The first seven children were born when Suxov was 16 years old.
In September, the polygamous man was charged with sexual behavior against his underage daughter (part 1 of article 135 of the Russian Criminal Code). The case was based on allegations aired on a Russian federal television channel regarding the violation of children's virginity. On June 9, on Channel One Russia’s program "Let Them Talk," Suxov’s 19-year-old daughter Anna stated that she had been assaulted by her father since the age of 14. (Oxu.Az)
