The name of Zakir Həsən oğlu Sərdarov, the late deputy of the Milli Majlis in Biləsuvar, a public-political figure, historian scholar, and a well-known representative of the "91-lər" movement, has been immortalized.

Medianews.az, referring to "Bakıvaxtı.az", reports that the head of Biləsuvar District Executive Power, Faiq Qürbətov, signed a decree regarding this matter.

According to the decision, the area in Biləsuvar city previously formed as a residential zone and adapted to the new administrative division will henceforth bear the name of Zakir Sərdarov. The decree was adopted taking into account the residents' petitions and the results of the meeting held. Accordingly, the installation of signs displaying street names and changes to the address system have been assigned to the relevant authorities.
