Portugal's national team forward Cristiano Ronaldo has achieved a new success.
"Qafqazinfo" reports that the 40-year-old footballer managed to do this by scoring in the match against Hungary as part of the UEFA Euro 2026 qualifying stage.
He has raised his total number of goals in World Cup qualifying matches to 39.
Thus, Ronaldo has become one of the two top scorers in the World Cup qualifying stages. The forward has matched the record of Guatemala's former forward Carlos Ruiz.
It should be noted that Ronaldo has been a member of Portugal's national team since 2003.
