Green banana – low sugar, high vitamin

Russian doctor Andrey Tyazhelnikov spoke about the unexpected benefits of green bananas.

Medianews.az reports that according to the expert, green bananas contain less sugar than yellow bananas. They are rich in resistant starch, which is beneficial for the gut microbiome and digestion. Additionally, green bananas are rich in vitamin C and antioxidants.

Tyazhelnikov noted that diabetic patients are specifically advised to eat green bananas because this fruit helps stabilize blood sugar levels.

The doctor added that, on the contrary, very ripe bananas rapidly increase glucose and are not suitable for diabetics.

Thus, experts recommend giving preference to green bananas in healthy nutrition.
