After several days of heavy rains in Baku city, a large-scale internal cleanup was carried out today to eliminate the consequences and bring the sanitary-cleaning level of the city to the necessary standard in the morning.
According to the information given to Medianews.az by the Press Service of Baku City Executive Power, from the morning hours, the communal services' machinery washed the main streets and avenues with washing agents that do not harm plants and living beings. At the same time, inner neighborhood and side roads were also washed.
Also, washing of avenues and streets, curbsides, curbstones and the light poles there, drains, benches in parks and recreation areas was carried out, and cleaning works were done in yards and residential areas. The shop windows of public catering, trade and other facilities were cleaned, and tidy-up works were performed around them.
At the same time, the employees of Baku City Greening Economy Union washed off the dust and dirt accumulated on the trees and greenery on the edges of roads and avenues, provided them with agro-technical care, pruned damaged branches, planted colorful flowers, and created compositions of various colored flowers.
