Citizens were left helpless in their cars due to icy roads on the part of the Victory Road passing through the Baharly village area of the Khojaly district.
Medianews.az reports that the Emergency Situations Ministry (MES) issued information regarding this matter.
Firefighter-rescuers from the Shusha City Fire Protection Unit of the State Fire Protection Service of the ministry were deployed to the area.
The firefighter-rescuers evacuated the citizens in a "Mercedes" passenger car, which slid to the side of the road and could not continue moving due to the ice, to a safe area using a special-purpose vehicle.
Additionally, movement was ensured for a "Chevrolet" passenger car that could not proceed due to the icy road conditions.
